Bound by Promises, a documentary about slave labor in Brazil produced by WITNESS, the world-renowned organization funded by musician Peter Gabriel, and Planet U.N, a film co-produced  with the United Nations that points to the challenges the organization must face in the 21st century.

She is also a regular editor at the Criterion Collection where she has worked on short behind-the scenes documentaries for films by John Cassavetes, Satyajit Ray, Haskell Wexler, Spike Jonze, Charlie Chaplin, Steven Soderbergh, Luchino Visconti, 
Costa-Gavras, Chantal Ackerman, Jean-Luc Godard,  François Truffaut, Luis Buñuel and Agnès Varda.

Anne Checler is a film editor with over 10 years experience in documentaries, shorts and corporate videos.  A native of France, she moved to New York City to pursue her film studies at the School of Visual Arts and has been committed to telling stories ever since.
